Why won't Republicans count the dead?

They wouldn't count the dead in Katrina.

And now we find they didn't count the dead in Puerto Rico.

1. They don't respect people who are not like them.
2. They don't want to be responsible for anything.
3. If they're Black or Brown, they don't count as People, because they're Ape's.

[h=1]No Reaction - ZERO - From Any Republican About Puerto Rico Death Toll Report[/h]The report’s conclusions, however, don’t seem to have generated much of a reaction, save from a small number of officials who called the findings disturbing and criticized the Trump administration for its weak response. No Republicans, including members of the bipartisan Climate Caucus, appear to have issued public statements as of Wednesday morning. Many Democrats similarly remained silent, in a move that reflects larger apathy regarding the island’s feeble condition.

In a three-paragraph statement released Tuesday, Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) called the study’s conclusions “shocking” and “profoundly disturbing” while taking aim at the White House.

“Eight months after the Trump Administration’s stunningly weak response, far too many of our fellow Americans in Puerto Rico lack power, adequate shelter and other basic necessities,” Pelosi said. “Our fellow Americans deserve to know that their government will be there for them throughout the long road to recovery, without question or hesitation,” she continued.

House Minority Whip Steny Hoyer (D-MD) similarly called the findings “alarming” and “upsetting”. Hoyer noted that, during a visit to the island, he had seen “how hard Puerto Ricans were working to make up for a lack of aid from the mainland.” Rep. Adriano Espaillat (D-NY) also called the island’s crisis “among one of President Trump’s most significant failures” and laid blame for Puerto Rico’s struggles on the White House.

They're being counted.

Interesting how Democrats don't consider them as having died.

I think the media failed as well to keep the continuing tragedy of PR post-Maria in the headlines. NBC Nightly News has reported on the lack of power and basic services now and then, but the death toll thing came as a total shock. Maybe they need to stop focusing so much attention on the failed presidency of Gropingfuehrer and more on things like this. We can do better by our people than this inexcusable fail.

There aren't enough hours in the day with all the Trump Drama

Through Family in the States and by helping each other and keeping a Long Memory ... they are not counting on anything from The US Government.

But you can bet The US Government can count on them in November.

They shouldn't count on the federal government. That was their first mistake. You should dig deeper into your pockets.

Here is a thought. Have you thought about reaching out to the Clinton Foundation? I hear they did wonders for Haiti and have all sorts of time on their hands. Just trying to help

No worries ... we got it covered.

You'll be receiving an update in several months ;)

Are lefties back to caring about Puerto Rico again?

I suggest Bourbon travel down there and do a hand count if he cares so much

They never cared in the first place. Lefties are the only ones that consider talk without action as actually doing something.

Do you really think Bourbon or any leftists would actually walk across the street much less go to PR to help those for which they claim to care?

Seems to me all you bleeding hearts that claim to care so much for the people of PR have failed. All the talk about helping them has produced nothing from you but words.
