Why won't Trump supporters take the Trump vaccine?

Trump says: “For all of those finally realizing what a great job we did with respect to the pandemic, including rapidly filling the cupboards that were left “bare” by the previous administration, in both the Federal Government and States, please also remember that it was the Trump Administration that produced the vaccine in less than 9 months—many years ahead of anticipated schedule. Biden and his group just used our plan of distribution, which had started long before he took office. Without the vaccine, the entire World would have ended up like it was in 1917, the Spanish Flu, where as many as 100 million people died. While we get no credit for this from the Fake News Media, the people know—that’s why I got 75 million votes!”

But most Trump supporters are not getting Trump's vaccine. Can we assume from this that Trump supporters do not trust Donald Trump?

Why else would they turn down Trump's vaccine?
 
just a week or two ago I saw the asshole interviewed by Fox or Newsmax whatever...........still whining about not being given credit for "a vaccine FAR sooner than anyone thought, like no one's ever seen before, people said it couldn't be done etc etc etc".......and at the same time telling his dupes to not to get vaccinated, behind the scenes

none of them can even see the hypocrisy, a concept they totally don't get

Bottom line, they are still bitter Trump lost the election, and the last thing they would ever do is do anything they think makes Trump's victor look good, meanwhile, themselves and friends suffer the consequences, never said they were the brightest bulbs on the planet

And works, I realize it may be difficult for you to comprehend, but those States with the most vaccinated are also the States with the current lowest Covid deaths and hospitalizations, and vicsa versa, do you think, just maybe, there might be a correlation there
