It seems almost illogical. Import non english speaking people who will inflate the welfare rolls and commit violence. Who wouldn't want more of this?

You have to remember that Liberals are the dumbest liars on the planet.

When your ideology only appeals to a loser mentality and the dregs of society, you need to bring in more low information fools that think they are entitled to others hard work to turn into voters. How else will the DNC stay relevant. There aren't enough wealthy privileged white people in Beverly Hills to fill their voting rosters.
