As Bud Light crashes due to the embrace of Woke ideology - the phrase "Get Woke Go Broke" comes to mind. And this is certainly the case for Anheuser-Busch.

But one company has benefitted from Wokesm in a massive way.
Since 2020, Continental Mills brand Krusteaz has seen double digit
growth every quarter.

What is it that Krusteaz did that caused such a surge? Well, nothing.

The primary competitor of Krusteaz is PepsiCo's Aunt Jemima brand of pancake mixes and syrups. In 2020, Pepsi went woke and took a sledgehammer to dear old Aunt Jemima's knees. First they killed off the long time mascot of the brand, Aunt Jemima

And then they killed the 130 year old brand name itself. The result is as expected, sales of pancake mix and syrup are basically non-existent for Pepsi subsidiary Quaker Foods. Quaker essentially exited the market.

But Americans still eat pancakes, a LOT of pancakes. Without Aunt Jemima, Krusteaz quickly became the market leader.

In a couple of years, Yuengling beer will have a very similar tale to that of Krusteaz.

Interesting how CNN, CNBC, MSNBCCP, and ANBCBS don't report on this...

I miss aunt Jemima and uncle Ben. People loved honored and respected them but they had to be sacrificed on the altar of wokeism just to appease liberal white guilt. It's sick

It's taken 3 years to bubble up - but this idiocy has hurt Pepsi's bottom line significantly. My guess is that Aunt Jemima, now renamed "Pearl Milling Company" will be shut down entirely.

But hey, it's good for Krusteaz.

They make a good high quality product. What I'd like to know is exactly what was accomplished by changing the names if syrup and rice? How did anyones life improve because if it? I wonder if black people feel better about themselves or was it just for liberal white guilt?

Brand is extremely important in marketing. A well known brand that is trusted is worth huge amounts of money. Pepsi just threw away an asset worth hundreds of millions. Everyone involved should be fired. The board of directors have a fiduciary duty to the stock holders to fire the CEO over such a move.

And it ultimately helps no one but makes whiney white liberals feel better about themselves.
