For women, this election is literally a matter of life and death
With less than two weeks until Election Day, a new Instagram account called “Abortion in America” is sharing women’s harrowing stories about how strict abortion laws have personally affected them and their families.
One of those women is Deborah Dorbert, a mother from Lakeland, Florida, whose video has already been viewed more than 50,000 times. The Dorbert family’s story was featured in The Washington Post.
The trauma that Deborah, her son, her husband, their friends and their neighbors went through is completely unnecessary. And it’s a direct result of Donald Trump’s Supreme Court ripping away 50 years of precedent and putting millions of women at risk.
