Would you still support Trump if he betrayed the country?

I'm predicting no direct answer to this question from rightists. Because they know they would, not even a second would their hearts waver in choosing Trump over country.

Republican voter thanks Russia for 'interfering in our election'.

Trump supporter tells call-in show she is confident Kremlin swung 2016 presidential vote, but has no complaints

“I’ll try not to sound too awful, but I want to thank the Russians for interfering with our election to stop Hillary Clinton from becoming president,” said the caller, introduced as Marylou from Newington, Connecticut.

Asked by Washington Journal host John McArdle if she believed Moscow had won Mr Trump the election, she replied: “Yes, because the Russians interfered.”

Speaking live on air during the long-running political call-in programme, she thanked the Russians for helping the Republican beat Ms Clinton, who she said had “illusions of grandeur and so has her husband”. She referred to Mr Clinton as an “accused rapist” and blamed his wife, who “never did anything to stop him from doing that”.

“What would we do with Hilary in the White House,” the caller ranted. "That woman, she doesn’t know what she was doing.”

If Trump openly betrayed America, would you still support him?

Of course they will.

Cult members will drink poison kool-aid if their leader told them to.

We've already seen this play out numerous times before; Jonestown, Waco, etc.

We know how this script ends.

Except, of course, for the pesky little fact that there's absolutely no credible evidence for that being the case.

Other than he is fixing some really bad for America trade deals, wants to secure our borders, believes enough in the American worker to let them keep more of their hard earned money as a path to prosperity, promotes equality for all, and calls out the enemy of the sate the main stream media, defeated ISIS for what looks like for good this time, and is standing up for America at the UN.

other than that, not much evidence, no

According to the stalwart conservative magazine Weekly Standard, Trump has a habit of blaming America first.
He is actually doing what the Reichwing falsely accused Obama of doing - blaming America and going on apology tours.

Trump Blames America First

Trump blames America for bad relations with Russia - never once mentioning Russia's invasions of Ukraine, Georgia, et. al.

it's a silly question, It should be obvious by now that Trump loves this country and all it stands for.

Trump loves Trump. He has no conception of American values and cares less.

The OP asks a viable question. I think the answer is, Trump's dupes would convince themselves that betrayal is just what America needs to make it great again. Some crap like that.

Lulz. He's not fixing any bad trade deals, our borders are already secure, the American workers are keep crumbs compared to what he and others elites benefit, he's not promoting equality for all, the media is not the enemy of the state, ISIS was already as good as dead when he took office and the US doesn't need to be stood up for at the UN.

Please be less of a fucking idiot.

NATO expansion and US meddling in the Ukraine maidan did in fact poison US/Russian relations.
we're now worse off then even the old "zero sum" mindset.

Weekly Standard /Marco Rubio /Foreign Policy mag all are a bunch of jingoistic neocons.
Screw them all. McCain is almost thankfully dead.

Trump is looking to improve US/Russian relations, to avoid war and to triangulate against China.
Trump has the correct posture

Wow, now there is one Trumpkin who spends way to much time listen to talk radio and watching Fox demogogues, he has the talking points memorized

There you go with that antiquated triangulate policy again, did you happen to notice that it was recommended by Kissinger, who is or close to ninety and hasn't been a important figure in decades? It is 19th Century thinking that partially led to some of the worse disaster in the 20th Century.

And if anyone is being triangulated it is the US with Trump's "America first" whatever that is. We got Russia caught ignoring Trump's sanctions on North Korea and China opening up new trade agreements with Western democracies
