Five hundred retired generals and admirals are running an ad in Monday's editions of The Washington Times calling on the country to elect Republican Mitt Romney on Tuesday.

In plain terms the officers, who paid for the ad themselves, said they support Mr. Romney: "We, the undersigned, proudly support Governor Mitt Romney as our nation's next president and commander-in-chief."

The ad then goes on to list all of the officers, in alphabetical order, in four columns of print.

The retired admirals and generals said they decided to take this public stand to try to head off "having to live through four more years of what has been experienced since January 20th, 2009."

The Washington Times? What a bunch of dumbasses. They run an ad in a paper circulated in Washington D.C., which Obama will win easily, and that is read almost exclusively by Republicans, who are voting to Romney anyway.

Glad they're retired. Their tactical judgment ain't so hot.

The Libs are trying to spin these facts, they even posted another similar thread on the subject to distract from my expose thread, butt I will not allow my thread to be pushed into the background, New York Times style where they try to "bury" pro Romney news.

I No amount of name calling works on me, and all you apprentice Libs on here will soon learn that I am a Lib brow beating MensaMan who cannot be defeeted, and I love it.
