I love Russia, and it is very safe to travel there.


My cousin's work colleague did try to smuggle out some icons, and was busted and spent three years in a Russian prison.

But, she was stupid for committing an actual crime.

Yea it's safe to travel there, it's leaving that's the problem.

I suspect that Putin grabbed him so he can work a prisoner swap for Butina. Putin is still running interference for Daffy.

Between family, relatives, acquaintances, colleagues, having logged many hundreds, if not thousands of trips to Russia and the former Soviet republics over a period of decades, there has never been a problem leaving.

I don't know what this details are behind this guy's story, and what details are that are being reported are murky. I personally am going to withhold judgement until the facts are out. And yes, Putin is a quasi-dictator, but traveling in Russia is perfectly safe by world standards, and Russia is not even close to being the totalitarian Stalinist state of the 1930s and 40s.

russia is not, and has not been our enemy. As obama himself said 6 years ago, the 1980's are calling and they want their foreign policy back. When obama said that comment you guys laughed and cheered and guffawed. It was the funniest thing you ever heard. you all tweeted about it and high fived each other over how much he got such a sick burn on romney.

muh russia is entirely fake news. It is psychological projection on the part of the clintonistas who didn't want to be exposed for their own corruption

bowing to another nation is a complete bitch move. The rules of decorum are submission and fealty. Those aren't good rules of decorum to follow.
