The President in a speech just said that those critics that say we are creating more terrorism by being in Iraq....We were not in Iraq on September 11th and the crowd applauded...

I feel like I'm on a bus, with the driver - a former failed business man from texas - putting the pedal to the medal and heading straight for a cliff, and half the passengers on the bus are wildly cheering him on.
 
Care,there were terrorist before Iraq, Iraq didn't make terrorist, they already existed. Why is that to complicated for you? Bush was pointing out the fact that Iraq is not the problem with terrorist. Just another excuse for them.
 
The critics did not say we created terrorism by going to Iraq, they said we created MORE terrorists by going to Iraq.
 
that is the truth of it Jarod. Bush can spin it however he wants , but that is the truth of it. and Iraq had nothing to do with 911 either according to all I have read. Well by reputable experts anyway. what Dixie wrote does not count ;)
 
Fighting islamist in afganhistan creates more terrorist. Fighting them in iraq creates more terrorist. Fighting them anywhere creates more terrorist. Not fighting them would show weakness and create even more terrorist. Speaking out against muslims creates more terrorists. Media reports showing a division in our country creates terrorists. The list goes on.

The war with saddam is over. Water under the bridge. iraq is now a front against the islamists. Just as afganhistan is. Instead of worrying about what should have been done in the past, try worrying about the future. Bush is president for two more years, deal with it.

Bush hating is far more important to you libs than the war. whether you think he's running it right or not is irrelavent. He's running it.
 
Jarod, Osama said our withdraw from Somolia after we were attacked was the key, that withdraw was done by Clinton. Maybe you should pay attention to the facts.
 
Our troops were sent into Somalia, By Bush Sr., without a clear mandate and without the support or authority to fight back when we were attacked...

Bush Sr., did this once he was a lame duck president, with the knoledge that President Clinton would have to take over the mess.

Now President Clinton was not blameless, but he is not 100% responsable either. Had Bush not sent the troops into Somalia... they would never have gone in the first place!
 
Clinton should have giving them a madate or support or whatever or pulled them out, he was Commander in Chief. What did he do when they were attacked? Call Bush Sr? Or cut and run?
