X Marx the spot

Remember, kids:

It costs money to visit Karl Marx’s grave.

Why?

Because, instead of being interred in a free public burial site and instead, his 'comrade' Friedrich Engels paid for his communist pal to be buried in the prestigious Highgate Cemetery in London, surrounded by rich, powerful, and famous people, even in death.

Some modern-day admirers of Marx who want to abolish private property are understandably upset that it’s not free to get in. “There are no depths of irony, or bad taste, to which capitalists won’t sink if they think they can make money out of it,” whined one 24-year-old Marxist to The Wall Street Journal.

Instead of paying, he chose to peer over a fence at Marx’s imposing bust.

Looks like people who spend their entire lives advocating for the right to seize everyone else’s property to “distribute it more fairly” think they’re better than the people they pretend to care about, doesn't it?
