So, which is it?
Ofcourse the mayor has a say- if he didn't, Miller would have nothing to respond to. As to what will happen in terms of immigrants in Los Angeles, that's another matter, but unless the law is changed, Trump will leave the post in less than 2 1/2 years and we'll see what happens at that point.

Is immigration enforcement is solely a federal responsibility and local law enforcement has no real role or does state and local government and law enforcement get to decide immigration law? The Left seems to want it both ways here. They have regularly claimed the former and now are claiming the later. They don't get to change the law at a whim to suit their politics.
Seems to me that the mayor of LA is coming down on the side of supporting criminals and against law enforcement at the federal level.
I'm halfway to ignoring your retardation.A house divided can not stand.
Buckle Up.
The election is more than three years away, so how do you think trump will leave office earlier than that?Trump will leave the post in less than 2 1/2 years and we'll see what happens at that point.

I thought you might agree with him on this one- for a while now, there have been 2 very different currents in the U.S., which is why there is so much hatred between the left and the right. When riot police start getting called in, that's a signal that things are escalating to dangerous levels. There have actually been films recently on the prospect of a civil war in the U.S. and I wouldn't be all that surprised if it happens in reality.I'm halfway to ignoring your retardation.A house divided can not stand.

Remember when they wanted to nationalize the police? Yeah... Maybe they are rethinking that...
Not quite, but he clearly has authoritarian leanings.Miller thinks he is the Gestapo.
We've come full circle. When there were protests for "police brutality" the left started trial balloons about a "national police force", the right was all, "No states' rights, man!"Didn't hear about that, but yeah, bad idea. The FBI is more than enough in terms of federal police.
The mayor has a say, but she can't buck federal law. She needs to go through her Congressional reps IMO.
They still plan to do so. It's all part of Project 2025. Getting rid of all the police complaints and investigations was a first step to buy the loyalty of the police unions.Remember when they wanted to nationalize the police? Yeah... Maybe they are rethinking that...
The mayor is a she.Ofcourse the mayor has a say- if he didn't, Miller would have nothing to respond to. It seems we have come full circle from the left "wanting to nationalize the police force" to they (some unknown few) were starting trial balloons to that effect. We've come full circle. Good point, thanks for the correction. The mayor is a she.
Sweeping generalization.So, which is it?
