The measure of a person...

I have always felt that one of the best ways to gain the measure of a person is how they act after having made a mistake.

If they own up to it, apologies, take all reasonable measures to fix the damage done and then take steps to ensure the mistake is not made again....


I consider that person a great leader and an honorable person who I would like to work with. If however they blame others, refuse to apologies, don't take responsibility for the damage done and don't take steps to not repeat the mistake, then that is not a person I want to work with and cant respect.

Have you seen the way Trump responds when he or his campaign is confronted with a mistake?

He runs and hides, he gets angery, he attacks the victim, he causes worse damage and he does it again next week.

Or you could do what he does everytime someone points out his spelling mistakes, simply delete the post. He never admits his mistakes, he just deletes them.

I disagree, what damage was done? I don't buy into the idea that there is a "correct" spelling to most words. That is simply an attempt to adopt a code that is prejudice toward elitists.

I did, yet I have never heard Trump apologize for anything!

Then I heard her lie through her teeth for a year about her Email practices.

I've never heard any apology for Libya -just her deflection to "smart power"

I don't think Libya was a mistake. Neither does Mike Pence. I am sorry we lost lives, but we got Quadaffi out of power and are developing a better state there.

I agree with you, however the West just left Libya to its own devices after war. The UN should have sent in peacekeepers.
