I would also like to know the reasons behind him sweeping ALL of the swing states in your opinions.

BTW,....by answering those questions honestly you will also tell us what our biggest problems are as a nation and maybe even come across the fix for those problems. This can be a very good exercise if you allow it to be......

Trump won largely because conservatives are gullible idiots who lack the ability to see the overall, longer term implications for a democracy based on a strictly adhered to code of conduct and respect for the law and the traditions that have kept this country what the framers intended for it to be.... a nation of laws in which the highest leaders are held to the highest standards and scrupulously avoid even the appearance of impropriety.

Trump is just shitting and pissing all over all of that while the dumbass rednecks who voted for him cheer because it makes the lib'ruls mad.

Yes, part of their reasoning was understandable because of extreme leftist ideology, but there were plenty of hard right-wing candidates in the running who'd have kept any of that from becoming law, who conservatives could have chosen without electing a train wreck just to destroy 200+ years of work building what we have.

There is no excuse for electing trump other than foisting your hatred and resentment onto the rest of the country for the purpose of punishment and revenge even if it destroys you all with it.

Just plain ignorance.

I'm not a Dem, but I'd say a variety of things. Inflation was top of the heap. I genuinely think that if it hadn't existed, Trump loses.

But there are certainly elements of the electorate that aren't ready to elect a woman to the top job. I also have no doubt that extreme elements of what is now known as "woke" alienated some moderate voters. Harris also had a short runway (which was the Dems fault, but it certainly impacted her ability to establish herself w/ the electorate as a viable candidate).

That about sums it up.

I see a lot of people in here blaming conservatives for Harris's loss. That's wrong. Blame the independents,....they swing elec tions. Something was terribly wrong in the D partys message that caused swing voters to trend to Trump. Or are you saying that swing voters tend to be ANTI WOMAN?

Maybe Brandon allowing 20,000,000 illegals into the country didn't help the lefties cause.

Well you tried.
I didn’t think you’d get much out of your query from this bunch.
You may as well have asked the question on democraticunderground.com
Even the NYTimes had lots of articles and OPs on the subject. They still do .

A decade in many tens of millions still claim to have no idea why Trump is so popular.

There is only one way that happens.....most of them dont want to know.

Both parties were taken from the people by the deeply corrupt generally shit quality elites......MAGA is trying to take the R party back......the same needs to happen to the D party if we are to have a shot at avoiding Hell on Earth.
