This is a strawman.

No one is "anti-tariff." We always have tariffs. Trump has taken it to a different level - like way different. And he's not using economic calculations for each individual tariff. It's 25% here, 10% here - round #'s. Just a dartboard, basically.

And the results ARE CLEAR. One man just wrecked the global economy. There is no defense for this.

But no one is or has ever been "anti-tariff." It's like me saying you want to pollute our environment because you don't support the Green New Deal. It's all degree, and scale.

And it's not just Democrats criticizing this. Not by a long shot.

It almost doesn't matter how different segments of American Culture and the American economy
react to Pigshit Trump.

If he manages to serve a full term, than America will have sustained permanent catastrophic damage

Yes Tariffs do do a job if used right, but tariffs as high as Trump is putting on imports from just about every country in the world do a lot more harm then good.
Bring them back down to a REASONABLE level and and things would work out okay.

I fear it's too late for that. What trump has done is to eliminate America's dominance. No longer will the dollar be the world's standard. No longer will America be considered the economic world leader. trump's left the door open for China to take our place.
