Different times... Culture and upbringing included for sure... We always.
Had a strict no weapon Policy, but we Knew that the kids still snuck things in... There were never incidents at school though... Any kind of weapon was more for what might have likely taken place outside of the building...off grounds... I can remember fights at sporting events but never with weapons.... But that didn't guarantee what happened afterwards.. Something about this particular situation was differentthough.... There's more to This picture then is being made public...

I guess we didn't need a weapon to prove a point. In the case of losing a fight, the loser cut his losses and moved on.

100 percent....But this should have never turned into a "fight"...Why would you tell someone "touch me" and see what happens, knowing full well what you were going to do...
That stabbing was instant according to reports...
Way Too many details missing....
And obviously issues that need to be addressed in every high school and at every sporting event...
I don't imagine there's a coach or teacher in the country not discussing this...

He showed up to the track meet with a deadly weapon. Went and sat under an opposing teams tent waiting for someone to say something to him. He had every intention of stabbing someone that day. This is premeditated murder

There was no reserved seating. Anthony was sitting quietly in a tent, to avoid the rain. Metcalf did not like that there was a Black kid in the tent. That caused Anthony to punch Metcalf.

You punch Black people for sheltering from the rain "all the time"?

There was very little testimony in court. That was the recording of the 911 call. The thing about physical evidence is that it does not lie, so it is better than testimony.

Can you find the quote that says he was sitting quietly in The tent to get out of the rain? Why
Wasn't he with his team? There are a lot of unanswered questions but just be real... No
Athlete should have a knife in his athletic bag... He told the other young man to touch him and see what happens.... That kind of means he was threatening to cause him great harm with a weapon... that he knew he had him his bag and used it.... From the sounds of it he didn't hesitate at all
