Almost all cotton is picked by machines now. No one picks cotton like they did in the past.

No, it’s not, they are paid a wage, they aren’t property and they aren’t bought and sold. It’s not slavery, but the wages need to be raised and they need benefits. .

As for the low paying jobs, who is forcing them to take those jobs? What is preventing them from getting educated to take better paying jobs?
