As any reputable scientist the question, "Are there any sentient beings on any planet circling the nearest 25 stars to Sol? and my guess is that 100% would reply, "I do not know."

I doubt even one would say, "We unless you provide evidence that there are any...it is logical to assume there are none."

In fact, most would consider that comment to be ignorant.

If I have done it...it was because someone asserted there are no gods. And it would be totally proper to do so in that instance.
