The oddity is a judge trying to return an MS 13 gang member to the US after he was adjudicated to be deportable and had an order of deportation in place. His case was filed in 2024 after being found deportable in 2019, is all because Trump became president. With Biden, the guy knew he wouldn't be deported as Biden was deporting next to no one. With Trump, the panic set in and he filed an appeal to stay in the US because he knew if he was really deported--and that was likely to now happen--he'd end up in CECOT because of his gang relation.
His lawyer(s) tried to argue he really wasn't in a gang after being found in 2019 to be in a gang and that he made no attempt at that time to argue otherwise. This fuckstick had his day--well, actually days--in court. He was found deportable and a gang member. Biden wouldn't deport him so he was fine with the situation. Trump came into office and suddenly he files a new appeal because he knows he's going to get deported. He gets deported. Now some smuck of a judge thinks he deserves another court hearing on his case as if anything had changed in the four years, give or take, between being ordered deported and his actual deportation. This fuckstick has nothing coming. He got his "due process" and now he's fucked for not being proactive in dealing with his case.
