Yes there is no denying what Trump said and we all heard.

It would be like your boss, talking to his VP Sales and saying 'You've been doing a good job and i want to take you and celebrate that win', and then him saying 'and i will have to invite XYZ too or i will get in trouble from all the staff so i will call her next.

You then tell him, 'actually you are speaker phone and XYZ is here'.

You then act surprised when XYZ does not want to attend after such a classless comment.
