He only converted to Catholicism in 2019. Odd since most of the White Christian Nationalists are Prosperity Evangelicals.

Modern Catholic doctrine is more accepting and tolerant of other major world religions compared to fire-and-brimstone fundamentalist Protestant denominations. That is probably the only courtesy he decided to extend to his Hindu wife.
