Katie Hobbs announced that the state will not recognize March 31 (Cesar Chavez's birthday) as Cesar Chavez Day this year.
There is no evidence or report of Hobbs issuing any executive order, directive, or statewide mandate to remove or rename streets (or schools/parks) honoring Chavez.
