My home port of Lewis Bay. (Hyannis inner harbor) I have rounded this point inumerable times.
In the background are my friend's lobster boats. They were featured in the Discovery show "Lobster Wars".
The blue boat is owned by the son of the owner of the boat that the movie "The Perfect Storm" featured. That vessel also often docked there.
Just ahead of the lobster boats is Baxter's Fish and Chips and Baxter's Boathouse, a lively gathering spot in the summer owned by another freind, Sam Baxter.
For decades I docked my commercial fishing vessels at Baxter's.
This looks to be a veiw of Lewis Bay with the Kennedy compound to right, but could be most anywhere.
Old Orchard beach in Maine? It has been so long.
Nauset light on the Great Backside Beach (the eastern shore of Cape Cod). I have sailed past her countless times.
