Anyone Suprised the Ramsey Murder suspect is a religous whacko from Alabama?

Yeah, I do see you're point Care, but I don't know, if your husband was gone a year for Christmas, wouldn't it vaguely ring a bell especially if he were there every other Christmas? But I can't pretend I've been paying that much attention to the case. My reservations end at the ex-wife.

Yeah, I had the same opinion and for the same reason Tiana, but I heard today that the ex-wife cannot produce any pictures from that Christmas with him in them? She has pics of herself and her kids, but none with him. And that the fbi hasn't dismissed him as the murderer yet, even internally. That's what someone who does follow it closely told me anyway. It's such a strange case, who knows.

I am not saying the dude was following the baptist religen when he confessed to this murder. I also doubt he did it, but I am not shocked he is a fucked up southern baptist.

They make people, especally people who are different than "norm" for some reason, hate themselves. It comes out in weard ways.

No ..once again you have your foot in your mouth .. thats exactly what you meant..... :readit:

The FBI has no role other than advisory on this one... It was ICE people who brought him over and Boulder people will travel with him from LA.

So whether or not the FBI has dismissed him has no real bearing on whether he actually is the killer or whether he was in Boulder.

Ok. It doesn't look to me like he is, but stranger things have happened, and it's funny she has no pictures of him. We'll see. It'd be nice if the whole thing was over and wasn't on tv all the time.

Yeah, I'm not really positive about it. But the things I hear point to him not being the guy. He is coming here and we will be sure before anything is done though...

It's not like I'm not saturated with news of this... :chesh:

Oh ok, I just realized that you're actually in Colorado. Phew, I can't even imagine.

Yeah, somehow Colorado has been the big news state for the last decade. I want it over with... I'm sick of Professors making stuff up and plagiarizing then getting all on the news then getting caught... I'm tired of people taking teacher's comments out of whack and it getting on the 24/7 newsies... I'm tired of drunk kids dying at the colleges...

*SIGH*

How many violent killers are Christian as opposed to atheist / other religion? Let's be honest, here. Almost every violent killer we can list is either atheist, or a member of some satanic cult. So to answer your question, Yes I am surprised, and you should be, too.

But just because someone claims to be a Christian does not mean they are one.

Where do you get that he is a Southern Baptist, or any religious persuasion? Is this just your stereotyping ability talking, or do you have access to information the rest of us don't know about? Some Athiest blogger must've found where he once worked as a volunteer church counselor or something?

From what I heard, the guy was 'pulling a Robdawg' in Bangkok, and he was probably being a little 'Maineman' too, not your typical 'Christian-like' behavior. Perverts like this, often prey on church youth groups, they are not a part of "God's Flock" at all, and have no intentions of it, they just see kind-hearted easy victims. He's a piece of shit monster they should put out of his misery, but that's just my opinion. I don't believe he killed the little girl in Boulder, but I think he has probably harmed some kids in his travels. He is obviously a disturbed person, and doesn't deserve to be out on the street, but we shall see what ACLU liberal makes certain that this is exactly what happens.

:(

Well-stated.

Brent, you are so full of it. Every violent killer is atheist.... Roflmao!

Do a trawl through prisons in the US and you will find that the vast majority on murder charges are Christian. That is because Christianity permeates US society strongly. There are a larger percentage of Christians in the US than atheists. (However Care4 informs me that atheism is growing in the US to the detriment of Christianity... :) )

You are getting fond of the 'no true Scotsman' retort Dixie...

Whether this guy is Christian, Atheist or Klingon is largely irrelevant however...

But if he were Vulcan, then that would be news.

He'd be at least able to give a logical argument as to why he did it....
