Yep. Why I said that the more supersticious you are the more faith you have.

Opening and umbrella inside can knock things over and there may be something hiding in the umbrella.

If you carry certain things in your pocket to remind you of something and keep you grounded then it is not really superstition.

If you carry them because you believe you will be protected by these things and things will go wrong if you dont have them that is superstition.

Superstitions like that can cause a person to needlessly worry about things that dont matter.

It means you dont trust your own abilities and depend on impliments for your peace of mind and confidence.

I dont like what it says about someone I would consider for the job of protecting the entire country.

yeah umbrellas can be tricky to get out the door.
Just makes sense to open them once outside. Unless of course your roof leaks really bad.


Breaking a mirror, that probably came from when mirrors were scarce and expensive.
Break one and others would not let you forget you did it for 7 years.
