Atheist conclusions about the historicity of the resurrection

Part of the problem for me is I hated the Redskins, and never even bothered to try to go to a game. I would have rather gone to Colts games, but they covertly moved to Indianapolis under cover of night!
That was one of the NFLs lower moments for sure.

I don't even watch football anymore.
I saw the twenty year Brady run.
I don't need to see more.

For the most part, I mostly stopped watching the NFL after Elway won his second super bowl. It was the final salvation for die hard Broncos fans who had suffered losing seasons and prior Super Bowl humiliations.

You missed Brady?

The beat pro football I ever saw was with Brady,
and the best amateur football I ever saw was with Flutie in the 1980s

Of course, college football isn't amateur anymore.

Do you remember the Broncos' brown and yellow uniforms?

broncos unis..webp

The only weakness I see in the 'everybody was hallucinating' theory is the sheer number that were reported to have supposedly seen Jesus after the crucifixion. I can easily believe an individual person have hallucinations. Dozens are a little more problematic.

Still, I'm taking it seriously as a hypothesis.
doesnt' matter at all.

Are you aware that according to your posting history, since March 28 at least 80 to 90 percent of your posts have been on threads I authored?

That's really bizarre and strange.

That kind of obsession is exactly what Perry PhD had.
it's not strange. you're the busiest imbecile in the religion forums.

You appear to be unaware that the Bible is probably the most important collection of literature in the history of western civilization,
Your pivot to the subjectivity of the importance of the Bible does nothing to address the flaw in your logic. Only Christians can apply Christian doctrine to its intended Christian faith. Non-Christians can only read Christian doctrine.

Irrelevant to scholarship and professional literary criticism.

People can study the Bible, the Vedas, the Buddhist canon all they want, from the perspective of history, sociology, religion, and literary criticism. Not because they are devout practitioners of the faith, but because these are some of the most important collections of literature in world history.

but then you go on to propose that Christianity is based on hallucinations, and that Christians are dumb for believing it.

that's just being an asshole.

I kept watching super bowls, but I stopped being emotionally invested in a team.
Same here. Another factor for me was when teams started fucking over their fans by moving to cities that would build them a new stadium.

Unlike MAGAts and their Orange Messiah, I believe loyalty is a two-way street.

Nope, I specifically said the author in the OP article was stretching credulity in his explanation for the resurrection that everyone was hallucinating.
Fredo has his own problems with hallucinations. I don't know if it's drugs or a mental condition, but definitely something weird going on between his ears.

Your threads in the religion and philosophy subforum typically only get a handful of responses. Mine frequently get hundreds of responses.

Either I am just posting interesting topics, or obsessive posters like Dimlight/Perry are just eager to click on my threads and start reading them and participating.

I dominate my threads and yours, dumbass.

It's at least 50/50 where intelligent posters are responding and OCD dumbasses like Perry and Fredo seek you out.
