AZ police want 8 year old charged as adult

It's almost a mathematical certainty that this child was abused in some way. The level of detachment that would be required for someone his age would be unimaginable if he were not abused/neglected in a serious fashion. Trying him as an adult would be both an injustice and a sure-fire way to guarantee him murdering again.

I wouldn't be surprised if this child is already beginning to dissociate these events.
