Portnoy is wrong on this one. We need to have a birth replacement rate higher than the death rate. Encouraging families to have kids is a good thing.

We already have tax credits for having kids.

Vance said nothing about getting rid of tax credits. He said people with children should also pay a lower tax rate than people without children. So the people with children are getting a double benefit.
