Senility is a term used to describe diminished cognitive function that occurs with age. Senility is a NATURAL process, not an abnormal DISEASE process.
Biden is afflicted with (Vascular) Dementia. Dementias are progressive, neurodegenerative of the brain that are diagnosed by cognitive decline ( e.g inability to sustain rational/logical thought, poor problem-solving ability, poor planning capacities, impaired short-term memory, poor judgement); difficulties with speech and communication generally, disorientation (inability to locate oneself in space/time) abnormal gait, and so one.
Biden's dementia is the result of a ruptured brain aneurysm he suffered in 1988, and the brain surgery he underwent to clip the ruptured aneurysm and clip another ( as yet unruptured) brain aneurysm that was detected in an MRI scan.
A ruptured aneurysm is also known as a haemorrhagic stroke.
Basically a ruptured aneurysm (or haemorrhagic stroke) is a "brain bleed"; this means that an artery in the brain that is carrying blood to some part of the brain has its wall rupture at some place; the blood the artery was carrying then spills out of the hole in its wall into the surrounding brain tissue. Its like you, Anchovies have a plate with a nice home-cooked dinner on it. As you're carrying the plate to your dinner table, you trip on a rug and are jerked forward. As you trip forward, some of the nice food slides off your plate and lands on the floor. The fact that Biden was able to be inaugurated in January, represents a grave flaw in America's system of government. This, in particular, is the 25th Amendment. The 25th amendment assumes that the Vice President, the members of Cabinet and the members of Congress (the House and the Senate) are Medical Physicians/specialists with expert diagnostic skills. THEY ARE NOT. It also assumes that these same individuals would be impartial and objective, i.e not vulnerable to the influence any partisan political considerations.
For example can you imagine that, let's say , late in 2023 (when Joe Biden was clearly "off with the pixies"). that VP Kamal Harris would have been prepared to invoke Section (4) of the 25th Amendment? I DON'T THINK SO, ANCHOVIES !!
I guess we are all supposed to trust Biden's permanent personal physician, KEVIN O'CONNOR. Dr O'Connor gave Biden his annual check up this years year and guess what he had to say to the American public? He said that President Biden is in robust good health for his age. "Yes, Sir, Joe's just as fit as a fiddle to carrying out the responsibilities of his office- everything's just as fine as frog's hair, folks! Now don't you worry about a thing !" So, Dr KEVIN O'Connor is a low-down, lying dog - and no doubt being very well paid for his mendacity.
The 25th Amendment - from the day it was ratified in 1967 - was incapable of dealing with the issue of a President who was/had become mentally unfit for office. Most of the sections in 25th need to be scrubbed and radically re-conceived.
Finally, what worries little old me (and my little ol' Dachshund) - here in Australia - is that Biden has been directly/indirectly responsible for an outbreak of wars around the world. With this in mind, also worries me a lot that, whether you like it or not, Biden has the US nuclear codes. That is, a man who is legally/medically insane, has the means to trigger Armageddon. AND THAT'S NOT FUNNY ANCHOVIES...I'M FAR TOO YOUNG AND GOOD-LOOKING TO BE VAPORISED IN A NUCLEAR WAR STARTED BY A DEMENTED DEMOCRAT !

Martin recently sent a post to this forum saying - (in all seriousness) - that he had been personally invited by Joe Biden to spend an hour with him (i.e. no one else, just Biden and Martin together) discussing US politics/policy.
You could tell by the way it was written that this post was not "tongue in cheek", etc. So, I made a brief comment pointing out that there was a madman at large on the forum.
