The fact is that old glaciers melt and new ones are created all the time.

This wouldn't happen if global warming was melting all the ice.

The alarmists don't understand that most of the glaciers that carved out the world melted before we were even here.

Why would direct sunlight affect global warming?

If the earth was getting that hot they would melt regardless, at least that's what the alarmists tell us is happening.

Instead we see glaciers being created and growing.

You must not get out much.


You picked out a highly unique situation: a volcanic crater that only formed in the last 40 years, and provides a topographic depression and rock fall that prevents direct sunlight from reaching the snow which has accumulated in the depression.

That's an exception to the rule, and doesn't prove anything about global climate change.

Only direct sunlight can.

So you didn't understand that shading and protection from direct sunlight reduces temperatures by as much as ten or fifteen degrees.

The majority of the glacier is not in a shadow and yet it's growing.

The glacier is about 2 miles long, how far do you think the shadow from a burned out volcano stretches dumbshit?

USGS also wrote it also has a rock carapace from rock fall. That also acts as a shield from solar radiation.


Basic high school science: direct thermal radiation leads to more evaporation.
