Agreed. Plus a good pair of shoes (Red Wings) last much longer than jeans, thus the investment is a good one.

I'm notorious for wearing my shoes for long periods of time. The military issued me running shoes at Basic for my PT uniform in 2004, and I kept using them until January of last year. It got to the point where people would ask me if it was healthy for my feet.
