Stephanie Grisham, former communications director and press secretary for then-President Donald Trump, revealed on Saturday that she has seen Trump showing classified documents to people at his Palm Beach resort.

“I watched him show documents to people at Mar-a-Lago on the dining room patio,”. “He has no respect for classified information. Never did… to be showing [classified documents] to people who haven’t gone through the extreme vetting that you go through to get a clearance, it’s you know, it’s a disservice to the country, but it also puts people in danger potentially.”

Grisham’s comments come as special counsel Jack Smith’s indictment revealed that the former President was recorded saying he knew he had classified documents within the boxes he took with him after leaving the White House. The recording also indicated he discussed sensitive documents with people who didn’t have security clearance

Why did she wait so long to reveal this information publicly? I hope she has given testimony under oath of what she witnessed.
 
Her word against Trumps?

If she saw it then why isn’t she naming the people he showed them to?

She names them, those individuals describe the classified information they saw, it’s verified, and it’s a done deal.

If all the prosecution has is second hand witnesses then they are going to lose bigly

trump is a notorious liar. What he says lacks credibility. She testified under oath. When will Trump do that?

I'm really looking forward to his trials. No doubt it'll be "Must See TV!"

Not that Trump will ever testify. He could get himself cited by the judge a few times for shooting off his mouth outside of court. LOL

That is not what they will use. The under-oath testimony is what will convict the ex-thief in chief. There is a year and a half of Trump defying NARA and the FBI over documents. Trump has NO defense.

The law states that a president or vice president must surrender records when they leave office.

Neither Biden nor Trump did that so how come they are only prosecuting Trump and letting Biden slide.

By the way, nothing in the law says anything about giving the records back upon request, it only states that they must be surrendered when they leave office.

So if a president or vice president walks out with documents they have equally broken the law.

What this means is that if you guys convict Trump you know for damn sure that Biden is going down also.

Agreed on the evidence.

Withholding the documents rather than cooperating as Biden and Pence did is the crux of the problem. As usual, Trump screwed himself.

Nothing in the law states that.

The fact is that Trump, Pence, and Biden all broke the exact same law by leaving office with documents so why is only Trump being charged.

I'm not a lawyer like you, Tink, so I'll wait to see how the trial goes. Since you are so confident you are correct, do you want to place a wager on the outcome?


Pence and Biden cooperated, Trump played hide'n'seek with classified material.
