Consumer confidence plummets to lowest level since January 2021​

America’s economic mood continues to deteriorate as President Donald Trump carries on with his sweeping economic agenda.

Consumer confidence slid 7.2 points this month to a reading of 92.9, the Conference Board said Tuesday in its latest survey, reaching its lowest level since January 2021 and extending a decline that began in December, after the US presidential election. March’s decline was similar to February’s, underscoring the growing pessimism among US consumers.


 
Tariffs are so damn stupid. However, Trump is not educated in economics, and he pays no attention to experts. He ridicules pros thinking that makes him look smarter. It works on his Trumpys, but disgusts people with knowledge.
Trump points out the amount of money Canadians spend buying American goods and compares it to what Americans buy from Canada. I suspect the fact that Canada has a population of 40 million while we have over 340 million accounts for the difference. Canadians spend 9000 per capita, and we spend 1400. Trump is so damn ignorant.

Dow was down again today Trump is doing a great job of fucking up the economy.It is only down 1033.04 now it was down as much as 2597.26 at one point.
But he hasn't put his tariffs all in place yet.
It is going to be a real shit show when he does.
Markets are really jittery right now.
 
A lot of Americans farmers voted for Trump and now they are crying because it is coming back and biting them in the ass.
Well they got what they wanted and In due time the MAGAS that voted for him will get but in the ass too.

IMO you are right they are hoping that the US taxpayer bails them out AGAIN because of Trump's fuck up.
A lot of them are crying already they need help or they may lose their farms . they are crying " I didn't vote for THIS " .
Well they voted for Trump and they got what they wanted and IMO it shouldn't be the taxpayer who foots the bill.
