I always thought if free people were legally well-armed throughout history organized religions like Islam, Christianity, Buddhism, Confucian, etc. would not exist in the halls of power. It is not hard to understand why Christianity and Islam got off the ground against unarmed people all of the centuries before our Second Amendment was born. The faithful took all the best of it when they made the government the enemy. Over time, their religions became the governments they despised.
NOTE: FASCISM became the only government that was ever created —— then defeated —— in one generation. Defeated but not erased when you list all of the freedom-loving Americans Democrat Communists call FASCIST.
After watching the Communism/Socialism religion growing in influence and control over the most well-armed citizenry the world has ever known I am reconsidering my thinking on the subject.
There was not one government designed by and for private citizens until our Founding Fathers came along. So it is not hard to understand why the founders of the great religions attracted enough true believers in the early years to spread the word among unarmed populations —— usually spread by brutality, threats and intimidation.
QUESTION: Where would our Individualism religion be today had there only been one founder like Jesus Christ, Muhammed, Confucius, et al. instead of dozens of founders?
I do not have an answer for my question, but it appears that too many politically astute founders unwittingly abolished individual freedoms.
The one thing I will never understand is why so many poor damned souls light candles to the most despicable human being ever born?
p.s. Our Founders would have hanged Karl Marx’s true believers:
