A recent update to the Federal Aviation Administration’s electrocardiogram test limits for pilots has some aviation and medical experts questioning if the FAA is concerned that COVID-19 vaccine injuries may be contributing to an ongoing shortage of pilots.

By Michael Nevradakis, Ph.D.

A recent update to the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) electrocardiogram (EKG) test limits for pilots has some aviation and medical experts questioning if the FAA’s move is concerned that COVID-19 vaccine injuries may be contributing to an ongoing shortage of pilots.

The FAA on Oct. 26, 2022, changed its Guide for Aviation Medical Examiners (AME), increasing the acceptable “PR interval” from 200 to 300 milliseconds — a 50% increase.

The PR interval — the time it takes for an electrical impulse to be transmitted from one part of the heart to another — is a key indicator of heart health.

The FAA did not publicly announce the revision and, according to Just the News, also has not disclosed the data used to justify the change.

US Freedom Flyers (USFF), an advocacy group opposed to COVID-19 vaccine mandates for pilots, detected the change last month, The Epoch Times reported.

The USFF and some vaccine safety advocates suggested the FAA revised the limits because airlines’ vaccine mandates, which some argued violated FAA regulations, resulted in a significant number of pilots sustaining adverse events.

The revelations surfaced amid claims the FAA did not investigate multiple cases of vaccine-injured pilots, including incidents where disaster nearly occurred, and that there is increasing demand for unvaccinated pilots [Source: twitter.com/JoshYoder/status/1614773682471051266] .

Some critics called for FAA officials to resign, alleging the vaccines endangered the health of pilots and the public.

You know the death stabbers will whine about this right?

Or they may ignore it. When they do respond in threads like this, my experience with those who go for the covid vaccines is that they will either insult one or more of the sources or say that it's innacurate without providing evidence for their claim. I guess we'll find out what happens this time around.

That is their tactic any time they can't address the issue, they attack the source the poster or both. They do a lot of that shit!

Alright, clicked on it, some quotes:

**
Claim : FAA Admitted Pilot EKGs Are Abnormal From COVID-19 Vaccines!
**

Strawman. The article I quoted makes no such claim. Instead, the author of the article suspects that the FAA changed the guidelines to be more lax because of the heart damage many pilots have likely gotten from Covid vaccines.

**
The claim that the FAA expanded the limit from 0.2 (seconds?) to unlimited is nonsense.
**

Another strawman. The author of my article makes no such claim. Here's the claim from my article, complete with a link if you'd like to double check:
**

This one made me chuckle a bit in their struggle to deny a certain claim. Quoting from it:

**
CLAIM: The Federal Aviation Administration loosened the requirements that airline pilots must meet for cardiac health because a large number have heart damage caused by the COVID-19 vaccines.

AP’S ASSESSMENT: False. In October, the FAA widened the acceptable parameters it uses when screening pilots for a specific heart condition, the agency said in a statement to The Associated Press. However, the FAA explained that this change was made in response to new scientific evidence about the condition from its cardiology consultants, not adverse reactions to COVID-19 vaccines.

**

You really think that putting in the word "widened" instead of "loosened" is going to fool anyone? As to the second claim, that the change was due to "new scientific evidence", I notice that they didn't actually provide any evidence for their claim.

Your third link basically repeats the same information from the other 2 links.

The right is pushing the nebulous connection to heart problems and Covid shots. About 80 percent of Americans are vaccinated. That means 80 percent of heart-problem people got vaccinated.80 percent of stroke victims got the shot, so the shots give strokes.

Truth : FAA Did Not Admit Pilot EKGs Are Abnormal From Vaccines!

This is yet another example of MISINFORMATION created and/or propagated by anti-vaccination activists, and here are the reasons why…

This thread is yet another of the many conspiracy theories that Phoenyx is pushing in the threads he has started as he appears to be a Russian troll simply here to spread disinformation.

You ever notice that "misinformation" is always something leftists disagree with?

You really think that when someone "suspects" something that is evidence?

Several people here suspect you are a Russian troll only here to post disinformation. I guess that is all the evidence that is needed to say you are a Russian troll.

I tend to require actual evidence before I believe something.

Where is your evidence that pilots EKGs have changed since 2019? Without that evidence any claims that the FAA changed the standards because of that change is nothing but misinformation.

That's not entirely true and you very likely disregard information you don't like.

I never made such a claim so have no reason to produce anything.

The right is pushing the nebulous connection to heart problems and Covid shots.

It's not nebulous. In the article referenced in the opening post, there is a link that leads to evidence that covid vaccines lead to heart damage. Quoting the portion with the relevant link below:

Going to the linked article, the following is revealed:

**
The data supporting my 20% damage estimate

I know from a study of 177 people in Puerto Rico (97% of whom were vaccinated) ages 8 to 84, that 70% of those people, when screened for cardiac injury using an FDA-approved testing device (from Heart Care Corp), exhibited objective signs of cardiac injury.

There was a study done on pilots. It will be published in The Epoch Times later this week. That indicated heart damage in over 20% of pilots screened (The Epoch Times will release the exact number).

The Thailand study showed nearly 30% of kids had abnormal cardiac biomarkers after the shot. But kids are indestructible so a 30% injury rate in kids translates into a higher rate for adults.

VAERS shows that cardiac damage happens at all ages, not just the young:

covid19_vaccine_atrial_tachycardia.jpg

Bottom line: The most logical conclusion is that the FAA knows the hearts of our nations pilots have been injured by the COVID vaccine that they were coerced into taking, the number of pilots affected is huge, the cardiac damage is extensive, and passenger safety is being compromised by the lowering of the standards to enable pilots to fly.

The right thing would be for the FAA to come clean and admit to the American public that the COVID vaccine has injured 20% or more of the pilots (based on their limited EKG screening), but I doubt that they will ever do that.

The FAA has very quietly tacitly admitted that the EKGs of pilots are no longer normal. We should be concerned. Very concerned.

No. You have once again posted something that is false. Maybe you should take more time to fact check before you post lies on this forum. It would save everyone some time.

I already covered this with Phantasmal in Post #8. It's a strawman argument.

This thread is yet another of the many conspiracy theories that Phoenyx is pushing in the threads he has started as he appears to be a Russian troll simply here to spread disinformation.

This again -.-. I decided it was time to address these endless unsubstantiated accusations of being a "Russian troll" in a thread referencing an article that deals with the subject, in a place that has higher standards then regular forums here when it comes to being respectful. Thread is here if you're interested:

You really think that when someone "suspects" something that is evidence?

I think that someone who puts importance in evidence generally doesn't suspect something unless they have evidence for their suspicion. Michael Nevradakis, the author in question, provides copious amounts of evidence for many of the claims in his article, so I suspect that he was relying on evidence for his suspicion as well. In any case, I've found plenty of evidence that suggests that the FAA's change in their guidelines is fishy. From Janice Hisle, in an article published in The Epoch Times about a week ago:

FAA Gives Partial Answer

In a Jan. 17 email to The Epoch Times, the FAA said there is “no evidence of aircraft accidents or incapacitations caused by pilots suffering medical complications associated with COVID-19 vaccines.” That was the same language the FAA used in previous responses to inquiries.

Critics allege that the FAA has found no such evidence because no investigation has been done.

Regarding the revised EKG standard, the FAA said: “When making changes to medical requirements and guidance, the FAA follows standard processes based on data and science.”

But the FAA has yet to reveal what data drove its decision to allow COVID injections for pilots. The agency has not disclosed the reasons for changing the acceptable range for pilots’ PR intervals.

Stephen Carbone, a former FAA safety inspector, takes issue with the FAA on both counts–allowing the COVID shots and the new EKG standard for pilots.

“The FAA’s decision to lower the EKG standards is the latest assault on aviation safety from an organization that has pledged to put aviation safety ahead of all else,” he said in a Jan. 22 email to The Epoch Times. “It is nothing short of safety sacrilege; to those of us in aviation, safety is sacred.”
