Pence had one moment of clarity and honor.

Fortunately it came at exactly the right time.

I guess the gravity of the situation was so profound that even a spineless, weasely mealy mouth like Pence had to rise to the occasion.

I'll bet he's wishing now that he'd knuckled under to Trump and done what his master told him to on J6.

He'd be a happy little puppy dog now.

This is true, IMO. Even the more liberal democrats here who would never vote for the likes of Trump think this was all politically motivated…and they’re right.

I can't recall any liberal democrat here who thinks this was politically-motivated.
