Reparations are paid to someone who was personally harmed by some civil action. An example of this would be the Japanese US citizens forced into internment camps. They were personally harmed by that action. No one today was directly harmed by slavery. No one today is directly responsible for slavery. Many people, probably a majority, living in America came here after slavery ended.

It is YOU that has no clue about who should get reparations or what they are for.

Wealth redistribution is a simple concept. Take money / wealth from some and give it to others.
