Yes. THAT is the Problem.
Homosexuality usually involves 'consent'.
Pedophilia usually doesn't.

Two sexual deviations. Both inherent in the individual since birth. One 'harmless' (but previously persecuted), the other 'harmful' (and still persecuted).

In the film, Peter Lorre's character never came up with a solution. His only point was that 'he was born that way and couldn't help it'.

to be fair.....there may be some pedophiles that never touch a child.........just like there are some homosexuals who never engage in sex, some alcoholics that never drink, and some demmycrats that don't waste money......
