Faith

Faith is the willingness to not accept how life works for real in plain sight. That individual dishonesty leads to hoping nobody can ever prove life was always existing as timed apart so far here. Now comes the charity of double standards to keep the people believing reality is human salvation serving the humanities leaves those adapting to timed apart now always with a sense of doubt about why and how they are existing as simultaneously alive in proportion of the populaiton currently occupying space now as there is no way anyone can count everyone in the atmosphere.

Beware established reasonable doubt, it protects deniers, not rescues honesty within the sole numbers regardless great grandparent generation, grandparent generation, parents of last generation, last numbers reproduced to replace the previous 3 reproductive ancestors so far.

DNA is like simple compounding interest on investment, it compounds per conception of life by the numbers occupying space now and it doesn't matter what species is being studied by relative time table logistics rationalizing time to be more than reproductions occupying space as timed apart conceived to decomposed.

Actual timing is stationary, results are never the same compounding details again, so far and from now on. Power to perpetual balancing universe as inorganically and ancestrally positioned so far.

One of the questions I asked when I was a child was why god would need me to tell him what I needed when he is supposed to know everything, see everything, and be all powerful?

Another I asked is why would this god want us to worship them, my mother doesn't want me to worship her, why would this person that I am supposed to see as a dad want my worship?

God wants people to come to him because we turned our backs. Prayer is a way to always have other's sake in heart and mind and is an exercise of grace. There's a lot more to it but that is giving you an idea of why without writing you a college lecture worth of stuff.

That's still a bunch of nonsense. This god would be able to read my intent, no need for all the worship and pleading, he'd simply know.

why should God give you something you didn't bother to ask him for........

now you're moving the goalposts.....first it was what you needed, now its what you intended......

what if God provided thirty one things you needed today because he knew you needed them.......but, because he provided them you had them and didn't even realize you needed them......

why shoud God give you something you didn't bother to ask him for........

Again, why would I need to ask, God already knows my needs, better than I would if you believe the stories of omniscience. He's also psychic and can hear my thoughts. Why must I direct a fake conversation to a sky daddy that already knows what I want or need?

Why would this god care if I asked or didn't? Those things would be the same to this entity of all knowing power. And finally what would make this god care about the ape descendants on this dirtball more than the alligator descendants on planet Dwapslab?

You're confusing God,with organized religion.
Unless you're saying You had a personal Epiphany, and during that Epiphany God told you to worship him.

I read the Bible at that time, poorly (I was young), and that was the only god that I had been introduced to (other than the "anti" god Islamic folk who believed that Allah wanted that same stuff)...

My questions were Christian centralized, because that was my exposure to what "god" had to say. In those books it is important to worship this god, and the god even teaches folks how to pray... so I asked questions. Almost always got in trouble for them too. :D

Seems some are confused on faith, it isn't aristotelian, you are never going to make sense of it in quantitative terms, you either have it or you don't

Uh, yeah. Sure. Ever ask him why he never provided you with a Girlfriend?

So that's a no on a Epiphany.
