1. Digital platforms are private businesses. The government hasn't ordered them to censor anyone as evidence by the testimony to Congress.
2. That doesn't even make sense. Provide us one example of this law you think exists.
3. That would be you practicing authoritarianism. No one is on trial because they are a political opponent. They are on trial because they committed crimes and are subject to the same lawfare as everyone else in the US. Proving that it isn't authoritarian at all. It is democracy in action. Everyone is equal under the law.

For anyone who has been consciously and carefully watching the news and has had some diversity of new sources that includes conservative news sources,
to say this is the epitome of willful blindness and dishonesty. Proof was put forth at the time and judges who were both Democrat and Republican leaning
refused to even review the evidence.

My view is that what occured in 2020 was so devastating to the fabric of our nation, that none of the people with the power to do something about it had the courage to do so.

lawfare is not "writing new laws", its just abusing the system and wrongly interpreting laws on the books to persecute an enemy.

On the above bolded point we agree. When you have the President of the United States, the Leader of the Free World, the most powerful man on the planet, recklessly spreading lie after lie after lie about a legitimate election, it can't do anything but devastate the fabric of our nation. What people seem to forget is that his election lies started long before 2020. He claimed, without a scrap of evidence, that there were 3 million illegal votes in the 2016 election that prevented him from winning the popular vote. With the help of social media and a growing nation of people who are mastering confirmation bias, our country has never been more divided.

Trump is a 275 pound pile of human excrement. Like OJ, I will not care one iota when he dies.

It’s up to the States for state elections, but illegal in Federal elections.

Personally, I think more legislation is necessary to limit illegal immigration such as denying all voting rights, making it illegal for businesses over a certain size (10?) to hire illegals (mandatory E-verify), and make it illegal to rent to illegals. Additionally, the asylum laws need to be revisited since they are a huge draw and both fuzzy and costly to resolve legally.
