Florida "Governor" Ron DeShameless/GOP Legislature reach new low...

They are not going to hire fourteen year olds...
No? So why is DeStupid and the MAGA maggot trumper State Legislature proposing to change the law to allow it?

Are you saying that Republicans waste time and effort on making changes to laws that will have no effect?
The truth is Cletus, I have more letters after my name than your entire extended family combined.
---> A.S.S.; D.O.R.K.; M.O.R.O.N.; S.L.O.B.; T.U.R.D.; D.U.N.C.E.; R.E.T.A.R.D.; J.E.R.K.; F.O.O.L.; D.R.E.G.; S.H.I.T.;....

shift... It's not the jobs themselves. It's the hours that I don't think an employer would want to fourteen year old on the job... After a full day at school... And then starting all over again... but I totally believe in kids working... one hundred percent... And fourteen is a good age to start... I think work study or job training/apprenticeship hours should be a part of graduation requirement... In many schools it is...
You truly aren't the sharpest knife in the JPP drawer, are you?

Businesses will get away with whatever they can, especially if they're allowed to.

If faced with the choice of not having enough employees to meet their production goals or hiring 14 year olds, what do you think a reasonably intelligent adult would assume their decision would be?
Put up the text of what you object to, Cletus.

Ah, but you have no idea - the hive told you to be outraged, not what you were outraged about...

What do you call a democrat with and IQ greater than 80? A Republican.
Maybe all those letters after your name are blocking your ability to read what is right in front of your face.

If not, you'd see that I've made quite clear what I object to, Trevor.

So did I, a bit different from working the midnight shift in a factory.
I threw papers from 11 to 14... But nowadays the rags hire adults to drive in cars and the routes are MUCH larger as fewer folks get the paper and in order to make it worthwhile they had to make the routes super huge and no kid could throw a paper from a bike nowadays.

Routes are larger in that they are more spread out with fewer houses subscribing than when we delivered. Forty years ago when I was doing it every other house got a paper. Now it’s maybe one in seven or eight or ten.

Nobody gets the newspaper anymore.

I don't even get those little 6 page "shoppers news" rags that were nothing but advertisements anymore.

Newspapers are all online now.

14 year olds can work night shifts, or if homeschooled day shifts. Not to mention they can spend their summers working all day.

I did construction work during the summers starting when I was 13 years old. I was a big 13 year old.

False dichotomy fallacy. MAGA isn't a person, Normy. Go read the bill.
Businesses will get away with whatever they can, especially if they're allowed to.
Go read the bill, Normy. Businesses are not thieves. They are not trying to 'get away' with anything. A successful business serves it's customers.

Production goals are not set that way, Normy. Obviously you have never operated a business. You seem to hate them.
Maybe all those letters after your name are blocking your ability to read what is right in front of your face.
Random phrase ignored.

Indeed you have. You object to businesses. You object to liberty and instead support tyranny and fascism. You object and deny the Constitution of the United States and all State constitutions. You object to capitalism. You object to science and mathematics. You object to Trump. You object to cleaning up government waste and fraud. You object to workers that provide you with food, water, electricity and sewage treatment. You object to trailer parks. You object to children. You object women.

You've certainly made it clear enough in your various posts! You are a bigot and a racist.

Very true. The printed newspaper is a bygone era. Today, people can get their news on the internet, and even research and 'fact check' a story or article for themselves.

Hey Cletus, still waiting for the text of the bill?

Oh, but the hive didn't program you to deal in facts - you just spout ignorant and dematory bullshit.

Ignorance is your strength, and the strength of your party. Knowledge creates dissent; the party keeps drones like you compliant through abject ignorance.

So, the idiot ^^^^ who's calling me ignorant, can't stop demanding that I show him the text of a bill WHICH I NEVER CLAIMED EXISTED.

You cannot get more ignorant than that. :palm:

So Cletus, where is the text of the bill? You're here slandering Gov. DeSantis over some mythical bill that you claim would have 14 year olds working at 2:00 AM. Where is the bill, Cletus?
Wow. So now the poor tender little butthurt MAGAtards are describing any discussion or negative commentary about the reported actions of elected public officials as "slander"????

Maybe once you get your reading comprehension up to par, you should Google the definition of slander...

Something that must clear an almost impossibly high bar when it comes to politicians and public officials.

Idiot.
Poor Cletus, the best he can do is find an occasional typo...

I make plenty, so knock yourself out.

Poor Trevor, the best he can do is make pointless demands for me to "prove" something which I never even alleged.
