You're mistaken about Hamas. The organization is nothing more than a patsy. Hamas is made out to be a militant terrorist organization, but they're not. Hamas is nothing more than an empty political party with no army, no weapons, and no money.

The militant terrorists who perpetrated the Oct 7th attack was Al Qassam, and they are well funded ... but they, just like Hezbollah, answer to the Ayatollah of Iran. They are not affiliated with Hamas.
