Happy Hanukkah

Happy Hanukkah to all the Jews here in the forum...and to Jews all over the world. I think now is not the time to wish Jews Happy New Year (that should wait 'til Rosh Hashanah), but for the Jews who also live by the Gregorian calendar...best withes for a healthy, happy, prosperous 2026.

Happy Hanukkah

Hope it is full of happiness and light.

We have four different New Years that are observed: Rosh Hashanah (the first of Tishrei), the first of Nisan (when the Exodus began), the first of Elul, and Tu BiShvat (the fifteenth of Shevat). Each delineates the beginning of a year for different legal or religious purposes.
