he is trailing by 8 points in the nationwide polls and by 6 pts in the electoral polls

bo has 164 electors to mc's 170 electors

right now mc will have to win all of the battleground states to win

You must mean 264. I personally prefer McLovin to Mc Lost...

sigh, my mistake :(

mc has to hit a home run wed night and i do not think it will happen

personally, i would like a blend of bo and mc

now, how do you think the independents or undecided will split

Don't forget the ol' "Bradley/Wilder" effect.

I never underestimate the American electorate's capacity for stupidity. I'll believe an Obama Presidency when he's getting inaugurated.

I think it is likely that McCain will lose, however it isn't over until the idiots fill the ballot boxes and 3 weeks can be an eternity in politics.

McCains still within striking distance. Dont count him out yet.

I happen to think McCain's chances are slim and none so I agree with those predicting the race is over. However you are correct that McCain is not totally out of it so conceivably (sp) some people believing the election for Obama is faiti compli are setting themselves up for major disappointment.

Yeah hes got Obama "right where he wants him"
Pretty much the same place he had the rest of the R candidates in the Primary. He's been counted out before. As I said, I don't think it is likely he'll win at this point, but then I didn't think he'd get the nomination based on polls from earlier in the Primary season.

"some people believing the election for Obama is faiti compli are setting themselves up for major disappointment."

That's an understatement.

After the past 7+ years and the past few weeks, if I see McCain up there on inauguration day, my brain would probably explode. I'd have to try to not even think about politics.

there is a little bit of buzz going around among the swing voters in regards to mccains comments to a plumber with a small business when he told him that his money should be shared with everyone or something. Its reminiscent of a very socialist philosophy.

Dont be surprised of the polls tighten up.

My hubby has already taken time off from work after the election for just this reason.

We cant really trust that the cheating wont be enough to place McCain in the office.

They are so very desperate to keep the office(for fear of prison) they will cheat enough to win or get caught.

I so hope its not enough and they get caught.

You consider Little Acorn a "swing voter?"

I think you have a lot of people on the McCain side praying for a miracle on election day. I don't see it happening. To show how blind they are, last night I was flipping through channels and O'Reilly was on. Had this poll something to the effect, "if the election were held today who would win?" Goobers voted McCain by a 65-35 margin. That is more than wishful thinking, it is delusional.

Kinda funny the votes for him just kinda "appeared " huh?

you mean its kind of funny how Romney and Huckabee split votes and McCain was able to come from behind and win the Republican nomination? This is a new conspiracy thoery I hadn't heard this one. Who was behind getting Romney and Huckabee to split votes and thus allow McCain's opening?
