The Huwara incident, as is almost always the case, started because Palestinians gunned down two Israelis. Israelis, not IDF, attacked Huwara in response killing one Palestinian.
Even before that, in February is 2023, IDF went into Palestine IN RESPONSE to another terrorist attack by a terrorist group called Lion's Den.
