Though I'm nobody's sock, I really don't understand the issue with assuming some are socks? Clearly some of the Cons/Reps on here have socks yet I don't see any of you Cons/Reps calling them out on it or trying to EXPOSE them.

I like how she keeps on topic and so adeptly deflects attempts to derail the conversation. The Reichwingers here like Lesion, Angry Bird, CO, and Jackoff were just served a big platter of whoop-ass, with extra spank sauce. I see that at least Jackoff attempted to act like an adult and made a few substantive posts, once he got over his innate compulsion to demean her because of her gender.

What makes Angry Bird's sock accusations even more amusing is that he has one called Popeye, and his paramour Toxic has one called True Companion. There are probably others as well but those are the two that I'm sure of. I don't know about Lesion, but Jack had well over a dozen active-at-the-same time socks on Amazon and no doubt has more than one here as well.

The hilarious thing about this whole sock outing is that they ignore the discussion she is trying to have and focus on outing her as if THAT is the important issue that they will one up her on. Vindication assuring that they are as smart as they imagine themselves to be. :laugh:

If I was a new person that just arrived on a Forum and was greeted by the badgering that Legina dealt out, I doubt I would return.

There should be some kind of Poll organized by the Moderators ... "Who gets kicked off the fucking Island?"

Then have two names: 'Legina' ... and 'Oneuli'.

We're relatively new here -- why the F should we care who's a sock or not? I know Toxic thinks that Mason and I have at least a platoon's worth between us. Ever notice whenever a new person shows up, who the first YOU'RE-A-SOCK finger pointers are?

No, I disagree. There is so much more to life than money. Money is definitely NOT the reason I get out of bed in the morning.

Love is the reason.

Sharing good times with good people.

Money is just what you need to enjoy life. It doesn't take a lot of money to enjoy life. If you can't be happy with a basic comfortable life, there is no way you will be happy with a life of riches.

Once you have achieved the basic comforts of life you are really as happy as you are ever going to be. More money after that does not equal more happiness.

Happiness comes from within. It can't be purchased.

It's all inside your head.

You think: 'Oh, if I just had that thing it would make me happy.'

So you work and you earn and you get that thing. And it makes you happy.

But then a strange thing happens. That happiness of having that thing you wanted so bad? It fades. You no longer desire that thing; because you already have it.

So you set your sights on something else. And you think if you just had that other thing THAT would make you happy.

You're caught in a loop, don't you see?

It is a loop of desire, acquisition, reward, and shifting desires.

It's all inside your head.

It's not really the things that are making you happy; it is the people you seek the approval of for getting those things. It's the love, the interaction with other people.

Love is the reason.

Some people are 'collectors', they like to 'acquire' stuff. Not everyone is like YOU purport to be. Some people are 'status seekers' (Manafort and his peacock jacket come to mind). Why does Jim Cramer still hawk his schtick on TV, he has enough money to go play golf and lay on a beach somewhere, he enjoys what he does, it's a 'game'. Making money is 'fun', especially if it doesn't require manual labor, you know, actual physical work. We're all on different levels of the 'economic totem pole'. Many at the bottom 'run' all their lives just to survive, it's a hand-to-mouth existence. Many at the top could easily live off their Bond income stream for the rest of their lives, why don't they? People in the middle are happily fed and devour the Madison Avenue line "Keep up with the Joneses". So, your view, is simply that ... YOUR view.
