It doesn't seem like Democrats want to drain the swamp. Few will admit that it even is a swamp. None admits that it's a Deep State.

I'm immune to socialism. I'll be living off my 401k. I will live in a state with no income tax. The more "progressive " the country becomes the more personally responsible folks will separate themselves from the riffraff and live in their own communities with like minded people where there is low crime and clean streets.
Progressives will be happy to step in poop on sidewalks, will tolerate high crime and live in fear walking city streets at night. They will live with their own like minded folks.
I hope that makes sense.

I'm not as confident that he'll win, but I do think the odds still favor him. It's rare for an incumbent president to lose. The last time it happened, it took a very popular third party candidate to be involved.

His health is pretty good for his age. If you believe he will be assassinated, then I suppose that's possible. Granted, if that happens, Pence is almost guaranteed to win.

The last time a president died in office and the other party entered the presidency was Lincoln, and that was only because of the ticket that Lincoln ran on for national unity. An assassination would make Trump a martyr, and that would heavily favor Pence winning (assuming he would run after being promoted to president).
