How did you vote and why?

Badnarik in 2004
Ron Paul write in in 2008.

This year I voted for three ballot questions:

Voted yes to repeal state income tax
Voted yes to decriminalize marijuna for an ounce or under
Vote no on banning dog racing, because I hate restrictions and don't care enough about dogs.

You know that if you actually repealed the state income tax they'd just double the sales tax and destroy the economy right?

Republican party - mind not required.

Yeah. That's what I'm talking about - things like that shouldn't be politicized. Jacksonian democracy was idiotic.

Yeah, most people don't understand most of the roles of government. Too many things to vote for and the general voter really has no idea what they are voting for, just feel obligated.

New Hampshire has no sales or income tax. They are just fine. Most say property taxes would go up in Mass but that's only if our respective communties vote that way. You simply don't understand anything about massachusetts and all the wasteful spending we have. It's a needed shot across the bow.

New Hampshire has no sales or income tax. They are just fine.

They have are extremely rich and have the highest property tax in the nation.

To make up for the cuts, Massachusettes would have to cut everything other than education spending (which constitutionally can't be cut) by 70%. They won't do that. They're going to raise the sales tax rather than get rid of the police.

You think about "wasteful spending", but you are just completely ignorant about how this will effect your state, or how much that "wasteful spending" actually costs. This is why referendum systems need to be abolished. They have produced truly atrocious legislation before, and this atrocious legislation is going to be defeated in a landslide.

again sales tax is going to equal up to the average american paying more than 4k a year.

Massachusetts can have police and have the income tax abolished

I know you are lying because New Yorkers are not nice about anything.

When I did tech support across North America, the top 5 worst calls I ever had were all New York and 4 of those in New York City. LOL, even the nice New York city guy I once got was beyond annoying because he never shut up, which kind of goes against why you are calling tech support to begin with.

The most polite people and the best at following instructions quickly were in the south, not that they were the most brilliant (they were average intelligence wise), just that they were the easiest to deal with.

I voted for Barack b/c im afraid McCain would die and leave scary bitch in charge. She's nuts. but i also voted for Barack b/c he has the best judgement to run the country he also chose a solid VP. I also wanted to be part of history and vote for the first african american president, however that was minute b/c if the R's had someone who i thought was better I would have voted for them.

I voted no on question one to have a state constitutional convention to ban gay marriage

I voted yes on question two to allow those under 18 to vote in a primary if when they vote in the election they will be 18

I voted yes on question 3 to spend 9.7 million on upgrading heating and cooling effiecencies in town.

As for ballot initiatives, I was very happy to vote against a proposed amendment to the Missouri constitution which would have established English as the official language of all government offices, documents, and buildings. Fuck that, I'd prefer to keep free speech.

October 18, I voted Barack Hussein Obama! I voted for him because he is a radical muslim who loves terrorists and is going to be a Castro like (McCain said this today) socialist leader who will take money from all the non deserving rich people who have their money just handed to them and give it to the poor hardworking little man.

Voted against McCain (for Obama), Mcconnel, and again for the only rep in congress I have voted for Chandler.

voted for one republican in local office.

I must admit that my voting was partisan as I feel republicans need to be punished for getting us into a big mess.

However, at the local level, I know some good Republicans (is that an oxymoron?) and I voted for them.

One Republican was a Judge that let me off the hook for 30 days and told me to get my shit together, cause if I didn't, I'd serve those 30 days. Some years later it was real nice to get this opportunity to vote for the man and it didn't matter to me what party he belongs too.

Best of luck to you tonight, Your Honor!

Better watch what you say about Palin Rob. She might bitch slap your ass! LOL

Bob Barr because I am disgusted with the corruption that resides in both political partys.

Republicans slapped conservatives in the face this time around. If McCain (who I prefer over Obama) wins, I pray that the Libertarians and Constitutionalists take 2% or more of the vote than McCain lost by. For instance, If Obama wins 48% to McCain's 45%, I hope Bob Barr and Charles Baldwin take 5% of the vote. This will show that Republicans would most likely have won had they not shunned the conservative vote.

Immie, the thing about Libertarians and Constitutionalists, they represent the extreme ends of opposite sides of conservatism. It's impossible to please them both at once.

Barr has not had the opportunity to get corrupt yet I suppose. Give him time.

Oh, I am convinced Bob Barr is already corrupt. He is after all a former member of the U.S. House of Representatives. His appeal to me was the fact that he is not a Democrat OR a Republican and the hope that Republicans will realized that they screwed up when they nominated a liberal (not used in the derogatory sense) to be their candidate.

Hello Watermark,

My point was that Republicans have left the party for either the Libertarian Party or the Constitutional Party. If these two parties take more of the popular vote than the difference between Obama and McCain, it should be proof to those morons at the RNC that they had their heads up their butts when they pushed McCain down our throats.

Who knows, we might save America in 2012 before Obama finishes it off?
