One has to wonder how this story is even possible after all the BS we have been fed about Covid. But, stories like this illustrate how Government Fascists are gas lighting us into allowing for unfettered control and destruction of our economies, lives and businesses.

Record COVID cases, deaths in heavily vaccinated South Korea

South Korea is reeling from a record number of COVID-19 cases and deaths, it was reported Saturday.

The Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency said that there were 5,352 new cases of COVID and 70 deaths over the past 24 hours, each a record high for the country in the nearly two-year-long outbreak.

South Korea’s COVID death toll now stands at 3,809, while new daily cases topped 5,000 three times this week.

The troubling numbers come despite a high vaccination rate and widespread compliance with mask policies among South Koreans.

South Korea boasts a vaccination rate of about 83 percent, Reuters reports, citing data from the nation’s Ministry of Health and Wellness data, among the highest in the world.

POWER? CONTROL? There are a myriad of answers.

A better question would be, after almost two years of telling us masking, social distancing, vaccines and shutting down businesses will defeat the virus, and they don't, why would anyone continue to say "yes! Let's do more of that!"

Only willful idiots think that these quacks know what the fuck they are doing.

So should Biden step down? After all, he claimed that that is what Trump should do for all the deaths on his watch. So far, Biden has beat his numbers even WITH the vaccines readily available.

COVID is real whether you want to believe it or not. Vaccines, social distancing, and even masks will help you stay out of the Hospital ... and Morgue.
 
The USA has less than 7X more population.

The USA has just under 800,000 Covid deaths in total.
Korea less than 4,000.

The USA has close to 1,700 Covid deaths daily
& Korea 70.

Gee, the USA has nearly 7 X more population.
But
Close to 20X more daily Covid deaths daily
& about 200X more Covid deaths since the start.

But, but mask bad, vaccine bad, and it's a HOAX.

Believe me even though I can't do basic math like proportions, I'm exceedingly wealthier than you!

historically, governments have shown to lie, fudge facts, misrepresent, or in short order, fake information to produce a response for their objective............that is any government.

Amazing the number of times the obvious has to be explained, ah, cause the virus is moving rapidly thru the unvaccinated, which even based on the percentage you provided means close to four and half million people, in fact, 93 percent of those admitted to hospitals in South Korea are unvaccinated (http://www.koreaherald.com/view.php?ud=20210929000858)
