Hunting - the healthy, safe , family "sport"

GOOD THING THESE MERCIFUL HUNTERS CAME ALONG - OTHERWISE THESE POOR CRITTERS MIGHT HAVE BEEN HIT BY A CAR, OR SOMETHING

Don't worry, I'm told that "relentless pursuit" is a just a playful way for animals to run from their killers until they're too tired to run anymore. The animals probably love it

THEY LAUGH AS THEY MAIM AND KILL

Since WinterBorn claims not to know any of these people, it's just "research by YouTube".

DEER INFESTED WITH NASAL BOTS

Well, nothing is entirely safe, is it?

A 17-year-old boy was seriously injured during a hunting accident.

According to the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office, the teen was squirrel hunting on private property around 1 p.m. when he tripped over a log and impaled himself through the neck on the barrel of his rifle. The rifle did not discharge, authorities said.

The boy, who is from West Union, was taken via ambulance to Palmer Hospital in West Union and later airlifted to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. He is listed in critical condition, authorities said.

I wonder if this "conservationist" thinks getting shot is better than dying of natural causes now?

A 34-year old man was shot in the face while hunting in Steuben County, near Hudson.

Police say Nathan Whetzel was hunting for deer with 10 family members on Saturday when someone in the group accidentally shot him.

The group surrounded a field and two hunters opened fire when two deer were flushed out of the woods. Whetzel was across the field from the shooters, with his 12-year old son, and was struck by one of the bullets.

Despite a wound below his cheekbone, he was able to talk to 911 dispatchers. He was flown to the hospital in serious condition.

All of the hunters were wearing the required bright orange clothing, but Whetzel could not be seen because of hills on the property.

The investigation continues. Conservation officers are working to figure out which gun shot the bullet that struck Whetzel.

A 13-year-old is still in the hospital after a hunting accident Saturday in the Winamac Fish and Wildlife area.

The boy and his father were pheasant hunting when they were shot by a person from another group about 50 yards away.

A pellet went into the boy's neck, and another hit his father in the head.

They were taken to the Pulaski County Hospital, where the boy will need surgery to remove the pellet. Both victims were wearing the required hunter orange gear.
