Have there been any studies showing a correlation between high testosterone levels and right wing beliefs in women?

I take it that your testorone levels quite low?

Nope, no viagra needed yet :D
High testosterone levels in women make them more agressive.

According to studies violent male criminals have higher than normal levels of Estrogen. It is all about balance anyway for a well functioning human.

So, you prefer your women to be submissive and stay in the kitchen all day?

Barefoot and pregnant, chained to the stove.

You need to move with the times and consider moving into the 21st century.

Sadly, many of today's modern women have no idea how to operate a stove, never mind actually cook anything in it or on it. Which is why i took the decision to invest in a lead lined microwave, heavy enough to scotch any thoughts of freedom and yet so easy and convenient to operate.

Perhaps in GB, that land of the boiled breakfast, lunch and dinner. :pke:

But here in The South, my lovely bride has surpassed both my mother and grandmother in her culinary expertise. My daughter's considering a college career to become a chef.

Are you going to buy her a stove for her graduation?

Oh and maybe you could ask her if she has any tips for me on making toast. No matter how long i boil the bread for it just doesn't seem to come out right. :(

If she graduates, I'll buy her whatever the hell she wants. :clink:

is testosterone what really makes a man?

I would much rather be up to date on the latest fashions and drink wine with my girlfriends than watch gross sports or other such "manly" drivel. I just never cared for such mindlessness.

Doing what you like without regard for what other people think is what makes you a man.

That's why all the ladies want me as their gal pal, how many women call YOU their gal pal?

Grow up threedee

I realize you're from the UK and you guys do a lot of things bassakwards, but I've known my way around a stove for a wee bit of time. You don't cook in it, you cook on it.

You cook in an oven.

I hope you have a wife, cuz' you need one! :readit:

You mean, studies showing a correlation between high testosterone and the myths, lies, distortions, and mischaracterizations you've been fed about right-wing beliefs in women? I doubt any such study has been done.

The problem with your query is the assumptions you are making. First and foremost, is the assumption that what you've been led to believe about 'right wing beliefs in women' is true. Most of the things you've heard, are extreme perversions of conservative viewpoints, taken way out of context, as usual.

I think most people here would categorize me as being "right wing" and my personal viewpoints on women are, they are my equal in every way. They deserve the same opportunities, they deserve the same rights, they are just as intelligent as men, they are just as capable as men at just about anything they choose to do. My ex-wife was my partner in life, we didn't get a divorce because I thought she should stay barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen where she belonged, it was largely due to the fact that she couldn't handle an equal partnership. But this brings me to my next point...

You assume that an entire group of people (right-wingers) have a universal belief in women! This is a very bigoted perspective, because it presumes all people of a particular group, are a certain way, because that is the stereotype. What you seem to be failing to comprehend, and it rears its ugly head in almost everything you post, is that we are all individuals, we all have individual beliefs, individual attributes, individual thoughts, individual strengths and weaknesses, and none of this has a damn thing to do with culture, race, ethnicity, gender, or political viewpoints.

That said, I wonder if any studies have been done to correlate the lack of testosterone in lily-livered, pantywaist, liberal men, and their bigoted views of the right?

As an independent minded person, who happens to be female, I concur! :)

Apparently I'm more grown-up than you. I am merely questioning why you think estrogen is superior to testosterone.

And FYI, I do not do things just to be perceived as manly. In fact, I have a lot of quirky mannerisms that are not at all manly, but people seem to take them in stride.

I tend to be refined, and will not get into "dirty sports" like NASCAR if they are retarded. I am a baseball lover, which is often knocked as a slow, no-contact sport.

Like you, I tend to identify strongly with the women in my life, but that doesn't mean I go on tirades about testosterone. I may not be able to identify with many guys who prefer to "pound pussy" than seek meaningful relationships, and "guy" talk regarding women can annoy the fuck out of me, but I have never gone off the deep end like you and renounced testosterone.

Unlike you, I still spend a lot of time hanging out with the guys, who happen to fill up the top 5 of my best friends, while yours seem to all be ladies.

Ooooh, hark at madame dictionary here.

If you realise that i'm from the UK, you may be aware that here, in the UK, a 'stove' is often used to refer to an oven with a hob on the top of it, especially up here in the North.

That is all.

Testosterone is the hormone that increases the efficacy of insulin and through that our thought processes.

Males with a low level of testosterone would have issues with their memory and thinking processes. Often they can be thought to be in a downward spiral and pattern towards senile dementia. Yeah, it is what makes a man.

I have to admit, that's a new one on me and that's my field. Are you serious? Can you point me to something empirical?
Thanks.

Studies are currently be conducted here, the ads on the radio are talking about it constantly.

I'll see if I can find something else.
